At Huffaker Photography, we work together as a couple, doing what we love in a place we call home. We strive to capture the person, place and time to give you more than just a photo, but a memory. Our style? Hip and fashion-inspired, yet still focused on the person, the spirit and the moment.

It’s also important to us to be a part of the community in which we both live and do business. That’s why, in addition to providing quality photography and custom graphic design, we support community projects like the YWCA of Greater Des Moines Women of Achievement banquet, to which we recently donated $1000, the Kiwanis, the Ankeny Chamber of Commerce and other civic organizations.

I have a passion for photography. While I am primarily self-taught, I’ve always sought out mentoring and training opportunities with top photographers across the country. I am a member of the Professional Photographers of Iowa (PPI) and the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).

Christie Huffaker

Photography is a natural extension of my background graphic design and another form of artistic expression. While my degree is in graphic design, I minored in photography and have used design elements to give my shots a fresh look and create unique custom albums. My professional affiliations include the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, the Professional Photographers of Iowa and the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).
